Golden Gate to Health Insurance (GGHI) Network
The
Golden Gate to Health Insurance (GGHI) Network was created by the San Francisco Health Plan as a resource for people who help individuals and families living in San Francisco obtain health coverage.
One of our primary goals is to be an active source of information about public health care programs for San Francisco’s application assistors and eligibility workers. These programs include Medi-Cal for Children & Pregnant Women, Healthy Families Program, Healthy Kids, and Healthy San Francisco.
The GGHI Network provides access to:
- Bimonthly informational luncheons
- A quarterly newsletter
- Health program assistor trainings
- Application assistance tools
- The Annual Stronger Bridges to Health Forum
Who can join?
The majority of our participants are application assistors (AAs), eligibility workers, resource coordinators, and public health outreach workers. We encourage people who regularly come in contact with uninsured San Francisco residents to join our network. You can gain access to a wealth of information about health coverage and help the uninsured and underinsured obtain health coverage.
How do I join?
The GGHI Network is managed by the SFHP Community Relations Department at San Francisco Health Plan. To join, please email your full name, phone number, email address and the name of your organization to Community Outreach, or call (415) 615-4257.
