Learn What Developmental Screening is and When to Get It
Developmental milestones (how a child plays, learns, speaks, acts, or moves) are what most kids can do by a certain age. All young kids need developmental screening to help you, your child’s provider, and teachers know if your child’s development is on track.
When you take your child to a Well-Child Visit, your child’s provider will do a screening. Your child will get a brief test and/or you will fill out a survey about your child. It asks questions such as how your child speaks, moves, thinks, acts, and shows their feelings. This helps finding out if your child may need more support with development.
You will be sent a $50 gift card in the mail after your Well-Child Visit!
The gift card will be mailed to you in 5 weeks. If you have yet to get your gift card, please call Customer Service at

Use the milestone checklist to keep track of your child’s development. Share this information with your child’s teacher and provider at each Well-Child Visit.
