How long does it take to feel better?
Most people feel better within weeks of treatment. The chiropractor will talk to you about the treatment plan and change it if you do not feel better.
What will the chiropractor do to treat my issue?
Chiropractors can perform manual treatments that range from stretching and pressure to joint manipulations. These manipulations are usually done by hand and involve a quick and gentle thrust. This is done to reduce pain and help with range of motion. They may also use ice, heat, ultrasound, or electrical muscle stimulation. They may also give you stretches or exercises to do at home.
